Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my all new comics blog!

 My name is Thomas Warrick and I am from the antipodean island of Australia. My location is of particular interest as Australia is somewhat of a backwater when it comes to talking about comics, my nearest shop at the time of writing is in the order of 200 kilometres from my front door and while digital has removed the need to physically visit a store you cannot talk to your tablet about what's good for the week.

 That's where The Comics Pull comes in.

 The idea is this, every week I will pull as many books as I can read and review them. The pick of the week will be my favourite comic of the week and I will dedicate a larger space to this issue to go in depth on why it was so good.

 On top of the weekly pull I will be adding stories ranging from breaking news analysis, top fives,  etc. The first series of these will be a look at what has come before in a review of the year that was 2012 where I will look at best single issue, best ongoing series, best original graphic novel, best artist and best writer.

 Lastly I would like to say that if you are reading this, thank you! and please stick around, if you like what you see on the site let me know, comment, don't be a stranger, the whole point of this site is to foster conversation about the medium that we both share a love for.
